Just so you know, this is the third Nexus smartphone from Google. This is also the most anticipated Android handset to date. This is also the very first handset to launch with the latest Android platform (the best Android OS to date). The handset boasts a 4.65" Super AMOLED Plus HD display.
If you are familiar with Android, then you will agree with me when I say that the Ice Cream Sandwich is a massive upgrade from Gingerbread (also known as the Android 2.3), the latest platform is also known to be more user-friendly. You will also notice that this is way faster than previous Android versions. With this, you will find new features just like Face Unlock. This will allow you to unlock the unit without touching the phone or pushing a button. All you have to do is to place the phone in front of your face, and VOILA! You can unlock it in seconds.
You will also notice the removal of front buttons on this handset. This is one of the cool features of the Ice Cream Sandwich. So where are the buttons? They are now built-in (through the software), and you can now change the phone's orientation by simply moving the handset. Again, this is another cool feature of the Galaxy Nexus.
With the latest Android OS, you will be able to multi-task using this phone and experience no problem while doing so. You can also easily access recent apps in a vertical stack with this.
Sharing is also made easier with this handset. With the help of its new cool feature the Android Beam, you will be able to share almost anything (i.e. contacts, photos, and a whole lot more). All you have to do is to find a compatible Android device and you are good to go.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus - The Best Android Has to Offer
Google has launched handsets that run Android in its vanilla form. The first handset to bear the 'Nexus' name was the Nexus One. This smartphone was manufactured by HTC. The second was the Nexus S. Samsung was contracted to create this handset. Now, the Korean tech giant was chosen yet again to create the next Android flagship. This is the Galaxy Nexus. Currently, this is the best smartphone Android has to offer.
Like all Android flagships, this new handset has the latest iteration of Google's mobile operating system pre-installed. This is Ice Cream Sandwich (Android version 4.0). Other handsets such as the Galaxy S2 would have to wait for the update to roll out. This means that you get to enjoy everything this latest version has to offer right out of the box.
Aside from the latest software, this handset also comes with impressive hardware. It comes with a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen that has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It has a pixel density of 316 PPI. This means that you get to view everything on the smartphone's display in high-definition.
Like the majority of today's smartphones, the Galaxy Nexus comes with a powerful dual-core processor. It comes with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, similar to the CPU found on the Galaxy S2. This will allow you to do heavy multi-tasking and run the most demanding apps available such as games. This powerful processor will never let you down.
There are other advantages this new smartphone has to offer. One of these is the ability to check on your data usage. This is ideal if you are not on an unlimited data plan. By being able to check on your data consumption, you get to avoid paying extra for going over your allotted data plan.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus also allows users to type fast. This is ideal when responding to emails or text messages. The phone's enhanced virtual keyboard comes with better touch recognition and auto-correction. With its spell checker, you will get to edit misspelled words in no time. Typing long messages is now a breeze.
Typing on the phone does not require users to use their fingers. You can actually use your own voice to type. All you have to do is touch the microphone found on the virtual keyboard. The voice-to-text software supports more than 20 languages. It can be used with text messaging and emails.
Lastly, the handset comes with a unique security system called Face Unlock. Normally, users type in a PIN or password to unlock their phones. With this phone, all you have to do is look into the front-facing camera to unlock the phone.
With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, you will definitely get to enjoy the best Android has to offer.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus Is the First With Android 4.0
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first with Android 4.0 entitled Ice Cream Sandwich which offers an entirely new look and feel to both the Android operating system and mobile user interfaces in general. It also offers better shortcuts and customizations among other enhanced features.
The system allows you to multi-task more easily and keep better track of which apps you have open, and close them quicker if you aren't using them any longer. You can also switch between apps with a simple swipe, and return to recently used ones. There are now also virtual onscreen Home, Back and Recent Apps tabs, which means there is one need for them to be on the handset itself. A swipe can also remove notifications, tasks and browser tabs when they appear too with an overall faster response time. As with other handsets now available, there is also a powerful voice recognition engine which allows you to dictate text in an intuitive way to the phone, for even faster input.
The Galaxy Nexus also has impressive hardware to support the new operating system, with the response times and speed through the first High Definition AMOLED display measuring 4.65 inches respectively, and then aided by the powerful 1.2 gigahertz dual core processor. The handset also offers 32 gigabytes of internal storage along wit ha 5 megapixel camera for photos and video recording, and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera too. The overall design of the phone is a contoured touch display based on a specially curved shape which allows both your hands and pockets to be better shaped to the device.
As with other Android phones you can still customise the interface and provide your own shortcuts and more, allowing you to make the phone yours, and let it work for what you need. You can also download more apps form Android Market, while the new Beam feature allows you to share apps, contacts, maps, YouTube videos and more with other users of the system over the Near Field Communication (NFC) capability, simply by holding two compatible phones close to each other. Other impressive features include the Face Unlock which lets you unlock your phone simply be face recognition, in place of passwords or PIN codes.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a slim and lightweight handset with a uniquely shaped unibody design including a very large display through which you can now access the fastest and most powerful Android version, Ice Cream Sandwich, yet. Additionally, the handset itself offers many great features including both front and rear facing cameras, and good connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Deals Launched on T-Mobile
The latest incarnation of the Android Nexus phone has now been released, the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a direct upgrade to the previous Google Nexus S smart phone and is the first handset to showcase the latest version of the Android operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus deals have now been released on T-Mobile which is the fourth UK network to launch deals for this new phone, however the operator has beaten its rival companies to launch the cheapest deal available for a free Galaxy Nexus phone.
This T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Nexus deal is on their aptly named '£25 + Internet' tariff which includes a healthy 500MB of internet access every month, this is something that the phone will need to operate at its premium by updating applications, allowing for internet browsing, checking emails and downloading new content.
Also included in this T-Mobile package are 900 minutes every month which can be used to call other mobile networks as well as landline numbers and 500 text messages for those that like to send simple SMS to their friends.
As the tariff name suggests, this Samsung Galaxy Nexus deal costs the consumer £25 line rental per month and is on a 24 month contract agreement, the closest that rival networks can get to this free phone deal is from O2 at £32 per month, that is a saving of £168 over the minimum contract period.
Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus deal from O2 cannot compete in terms of inclusive minutes as it offers just 300 minutes compared with the 900 of the T-Mobile tariff, for those that love to send text messages it does include unlimited messaging but with so many people using social networking as their main form of contacting friends the T-Mobile deal is a far more attractive offering.
What does the Samsung Galaxy Nexus offer?
This is the first ever smart phone to show off the new Android 4.0 operating system, this includes new features such as facial recognition to unlock to screen, advanced NFC technology which includes file sharing capabilities, Google+ integration and enhanced task management over previous versions of the software.
The phone itself offers a large 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 5.0 mega pixel camera with new features such as continuous shot panorama mode, a fast dual core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and connectivity using WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3.5G data support.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has now been released across four of the UK mobile networks with more releases expected soon, this means that deals for this new Android phone will get even cheaper as more retailers start to receive their first stocks.
